Roero Nebbiolo 2020

Luca and Carolina are two of the best people we've met in the world of wine. Based in Roero where the vineyards are planted on steep hills with sandy soils, their wines are perfumed and pretty with a distinct saltiness on the palate.  Farming is organic with some biodynamic principals and in the cantina Luca works without temperature control and only indigenous yeasts. The wines are unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur additions and the stunning labels are all designed by Carolina.

Roero Nebbiolo is lighter in body and structure compared to those from the Langhe but they have beautifully detailed with finesse and elegance. Fruity and vibrant with crisp red fruits and floral notes, the palate balancing juicy fruit and a little saltiness which is typical of Roero.
