Collection: Vermouth

The modern version of vermouth originated in Torino in the 18th century. However, the tradition of fortifying wine with spices and herbs dates back to ancient times. The name comes from one of the key ingredients, wormwood (Wermut in German). Today there are white, dry and red versions, all served differently.  Bianco can be served on ice, Dry is refreshing on its own or in a Martini, whilst Rosso has became famous in cocktails such as the Americano and Negroni.

Our Vermouth producer, Antica Torino, makes some of the best in Italy with an emphasis on complexity and balance, much like a wine, and they are made with no artificial colorants or preservatives added.
