Poggerino proprietor Piero Lanza is an artisan of Chianti Classico, totally devoted to his property in Radda in Chianti and to producing a wine that best expresses the typicity of Sangiovese, while reflecting the individuality of Poggerino’s terroir.

Year in year out Piero's Chianti Classico is amongst the regions best and, when the conditions are perfect, he makes an impressive Riserva 'Bugialla' from the best vineyard parcels. We've been working with Piero from 25 years and its a pleasure to see the rest of the world waking up to how brilliant his wines are.
