Nebbiolo Langhe 'Lasarin' 2023

This historic estate in La Morra, dating back to the mid-1800s, is now being run by the sixth generation brother-sister team of Andrea and Elisa Marchetti. Marcarini's renowned Barolo wines are amongst the regions most classic and their cantina still uses some of the oldest and largest botti.

Lasarin is made from grapes from Neviglie (near Barbaresco) and their youngest Barolo vines, with just a short maceration on skins to keep the tannins easy and the fruit fresh and vibrant. This is a great introduction to Nebbiolo, with fresh raspberry fruit and floral notes and a silky palate.
