The Collas are one of the oldest and most established families in Piedmont,
renowned for classic Barolo and Barbaresco wines. Thier Nebbiolo d'Alba comes
from the home vineyard at Cascina Drago in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, near
Alba and just outside the Barbaresco DOCG boundary.
Aged in large casks,
this is classic Nebbiolo - medium bodied with fragrant red fruits, the
palate firm and structured with pleasing tannins.
