Dolcetto d'Alba 2024

There's simply not enough space here to tell you the amazing story and influence of Chiara Boschis....Chiara left her family's winery (at the time they owned Borgogno, right in the village of Barolo) and she went up the road and took over E.Pira in 1981 to be, back then, one of just two female oenologists in all of the Langhe. Today, Chiara is joined by her brother Giorgio and neice Beatrice, making a range of highly regarded and much sought after wines.

Dolcetto comes from three vineyards in Monforte (Ravera, Le Coste and Mosconi) and is  fermented and aged in stainless steel to produce a racy wine with bright blue fruits, spice and floral notes, the tannins ripe and round. A great wine for antipasti and first courses.
