Chianti Colli Senesi 2022

Chianti Classico superstar Fèlsina own this estate in the Colli Senesi, close to Siena. The soil here has more sand, clay and marine sediments and the wines tend to be more forward than those from Chianti Classico, well suited to near-term drinking. This is mostly Sangiovese with a drop of Merlot, medium bodied with perfumed preserved cherry fruit and liquorice, the palate fresh and satisfying.
