Brancaia is one of Tuscany's leading estates with a suite of brilliant
wines from Chianti Classico.
Owner/winemaker Barbara Widmer makes her Riserva from a selection of the best Sangiovese, blended with 20% Merlot. Matured in barriques (half new) for 16 months, it is loaded with ripe dark berry fruit, the palate rich and polished.
We highly recommend the winery restaurant too, with a terrace overlooking the vineyards.
