Catarratto 'Lu' 2023

Gaetano di Carlo returned to his home town of Corleone in 2019 with a dream to make more of
both Corleone and the Catarratto grape. He purchased old vineyards at 800 metres on Rocca
Busambra, known as the ‘Dolomites of Sicily’ owing to their topography and presence of limestone,
and makes a wine that is flinty and minerally with great tension and flavour. It is fermented naturally
and bottled without fining or filtration and is the best Catarratto we’ve tasted. Bravo Gaetano.
