Barbaresco 'Rocche 7 Fratelli' 2022

This is the flagship wine of Lodali, named after a local fable where the sette fratelli - seven brothers - were working the land and failed to observe a holy day. As a result, the hill collapsed, killing all seven brothers and creating a 7 dramatic cliff faces. 

From Giacone and Ferrere in Treiso, this is fermented in cement and aged 18 months in medium sized Garbellotto botti.

Sweet red cherry, white pepper, chalk and dried herbs are all beautifully delineated in this vibrant yet ethereal Barbaresco. This fragrant, understated Barbaresco is impeccably done.
