Aglianico del Vulture 'Sceg' 2021

Elena Fucci is a superstar in Italian wine and makes some of the countrys best Aglianico from her old vines on Monte Vulture in Basilicata. Sceg, pronounced sheg in Italian, means pomegranate in dialect and is 100% Aglianico from neighbouring vineyards.  Aged in tonneaux for twelve months, its full of dark berry fruit with spice and dried herbs, the palate rich and full with grippy tannins.
