Collection: Brunello di Montalcino

The town of Montalcino in southern Tuscany produces the country's premier wine from the Sangiovese grape, Brunello di Montalcino. The wines are aged in wood for a minimum of two years and are released in the fifth year (six for Riserva) following harvest. The best Brunello can age gracefully for decades.  Rosso di Montalcino is the junior wine, also made from Sangiovese, but released younger and as such is more fruit driven to drink over the short term.
