Aged in Slavonian botti for two years, there is a lot of bang for your
buck in this wine. Perfumed with bright red berry and rhubard fruit with hints
of orange and sweet spice, this is a lighter weight wine than La Villa to drink
or cellar over the short-medium term.
The 2019 Barolo Castelletto is laced with rose petal, cinnamon, white
pepper, mint, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco. Medium in body, with lovely
persistence, the 2019 captures all the character of this Monforte site. The
aromatics are especially nuanced in 2019. Brisk acids and vibrant tannins pull
