Produced from 60% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 30% of Umbria's
indigenous Sagrantino, Il Campanile is aged in barriques for twelve
months with a further two years in the bottle. The juicy cherry fruit of
Sangiovese is supported by the dark fruit and robust tannin of Sagrantino with a
splash of Merlot adding some mid palate depth. Less than 300 dozen of this
beautiful red are made.
