Originating from Mount Etna, Nerello Mascalese is often blended with small amounts of Nerello Cappuccio to make reds that show a remarkable resemblance to Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. Lightly colooured but instensely prefumed with wild red fruits and floral aromas, firm acidity and solid tannins.
