Greco

Found mostly in Campania where the best known version is Greco di Tufo (from the area around the village of Tufo), but planted throughout the South. One of the oldest grapes in Italy, it is thought to have been brought to the region by Greek settlers in the 8th century. A late ripening variety with deep colour, citrus and tropical fruit aromas and a firm body.
